Take THAT Mother Nature...

Read an awesome story about a surfer who punched a shark to keep it from attacking him. It was in Oregon. First, who the hell goes surfing in Oregon? Isn't it freezing cold up there? Second, What the hell are sharks doing of the Oregon coast? Third, is this guy a badass or what? He PUNCHED a great white shark. Kudos to you amigo.

Seems that anything passes for news nowadays. Some organizations actually waste valuable resources on reporting that Oprah Winfrey's private jet was damaged by a bird and had to return to Santa Barbara. Awful. I wonder if the bird survived?

In other news, another corporate executive gets his comuppance for defrauding investors. Richard Causey, the former top accountant for Enron, admitted to securities violations and agreed to assist in the investigation of Kenneth Lay and Jeffrey Skilling. Looks like he'll have to give back $1.25 million and spend 7 years in the slammer. Awesome. I absolutely love to hear about these kinds of things. No matter where you're at in the American social strata, if you f**k up and get caught, you're done for. Guess the lesson learned here is not to get caught.
